Woodbridge Concerts, Boscov’s Grand Opening This Week
What you should look out for this week on Woodbridge Patch.

Here's what you need to know the week of Aug. 4:
Council meeting: The Woodbridge Township council will hold their usual meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the council chambers.
Summer tunes: The Mayor’s Summer Concert Series features the “B Street Band,” a Springsteen tribute Monday night at 7:30 p.m on the lawn behind Woodbridge High. This Wednesday check out “Heritage Blues” at 7:30 p.m. in Parker Press Park as part of Woodbridge Wednesday. Be sure to stop by the Farmer’s Market before you set up your spot in front of the stage. Donations to the Woodbridge food banks appreciated at both events.
Boscov’s Grand Opening: The festivities begin on Thursday with a charity gala, a soft opening on Friday and the official ribbon cutting on Saturday. Boscov’s is a family-owned department store that is taking over the formerly empty location that was once Fortunoff’s in Woodbridge Center. Check back for a full look inside the store at the end-of-the-week.
Customer Appreciation: Last Thursday Northfield Bank held their annual appreciation event for Woodbridge YMCA summer campers and gym members. Check back to see how the Luau themed event went.
