Woodbridge Expected To Get 8-12 Inches Of Snow
Starting at 10 p.m. Friday extending into Saturday afternoon with possible accumulations of 8 to 12 inches for Woodbridge.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ —The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm and blizzard warning for Woodbridge starting at 10 p.m. Friday extending into Saturday afternoon with possible snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches or more and wind gusts exceeding 50 MPH.
The National Weather Service specifically mentioned Sandy Hook and Freehold as vulnerable to blizzard conditions.
This storm will be accompanied by strong winds, poor visibility and possible coastal flooding.
According to the National Weather Service, blizzard conditions are expected near the coast with strong wind gusts, reduced visibility and snowfall. Northerly wind 30 to 40 mph with gusts around 50 mph.

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect from 3:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

“We are facing a very serious storm with the potential for a significant number of power outages due to forecasted substantial snow and high winds” said New Jersey Board of Public Utilities President Joseph Fiordaliso. “Our only goal is to keep New Jerseyans safe, secure and warm during this time. We will make sure enough crews are deployed in the right places to minimize potential outages. If you lose power we urge you to call your utility to report it. Don’t count on anyone else reporting it for you."
