Woodbridge Fifth Grader A Star Student

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Amanda who nominated Amelia, a fifth grader in Woodbridge.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She has excelled in all her school subjects, making her a honor student and part of the National Honor Society. She also participates in after-school activities such as Girl Scouts and musical theater. She's an all-around caring and helpful person.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

She is caring, kind and loving person. Ask anyone that knows her, they will say the same.
