Woodbridge Girls Track Team Wins State Championship

The Woodbridge Girls Track team took its first ever NJSIAA North 2 Group 3 title on Saturday after two days of competition.

During the Saturday 4x400 relay, Woodbridge took the lead over West Morris Central for the win, according to My Central Jersey.

Coach John Moyer told My Central Jersey that the team has made great strides during the past couple of seasons and overcame some injuries, so it was a great accomplishment to win the sectional.

Woodbridge had a total of 78 points in Saturday’s meet.
