Kayleigh is captain of the Woodbridge cheer team, is involved in theater and the Woodbridge show choir and is a junior class officer.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Amy Skibar who nominated Kayleigh, an eleventh grader at Woodbridge High School.

How do you know the star local student?
She is my daughter.
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Kayleigh is an outstanding student who participates in many extracurriculars. She is captain of the Woodbridge cheer team, spirit cheer, heavily involved in theater and the Woodbridge show choir, called "Heroes and Cool Kids," and she is a junior class officer.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Besides being heavily involved in school, she volunteers as a coach for our local youth organization.
She is genuinely the sweetest, most well-rounded young lady. She plans on going to college to become a physician assistant. I could not be prouder of her and all of her accomplishments.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Kayleigh!
