Woodbridge Loses to Bishop Ahr in GMC Baseball Tournament Preliminary
Bishop Ahr defeated Woodbridge 4-3 on Monday afternoon.
The Woodbridge Boys Varsity Baseball team will not move onto to the next round of the Greater Middlesex Conference after a loss to Bishop Ahr on Monday, 4-3.
The 4 p.m. game had Bishop Ahr gaining victory after a three-run fifth inning, according to NJ.com.
An NJ.com report stated that Mike Bernet struck out six and allowed two runs on eight hits. Additionally, he went 3-4 with one RBI.
In The Star Ledger’s Top 20, Bishop Ahr was ranked 20, while Woodbridge was 18. Bishop Ahr will now move onto play 4th seeded South Brunswick.
The GMC final will take place on May 25 at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater.
