WOODBRIDGE, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom worked 3 jobs to help provide food and shelter for us when we were little. She was a victim of domestic abuse, but that never stopped her from keeping us safe, loving us or supporting us!
It breaks my heart to know that she had to go back to work after having retired for 2 years, to pay for a used car she bought that doesn't even work properly. It's been a nightmare! 😢
She is in constant pain, but through it all she is always there for her 3 kids! She goes above and beyond to help her neighbors, friends, family and co-workers. She is an amazing woman and she is loved beyond words! We love you Mami ... Happy Mother's Day! May God Bless you always! 🙏❤️
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She has had a tough life, and it would be nice to let her see that what she does for us all, has not gone unnoticed!
