Woodbridge Police Prescription Drug Takeback This Saturday
Bring unused and expired prescription drugs to Woodbridge Police headquarters (One Main Street) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. this Saturday.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Bring unused and expired prescription drugs to Woodbridge Police headquarters at town hall (One Main Street) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. this Saturday.
Woodbridge Police will participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA’s) 28th annual “National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day” this Saturday, April 26.
Woodbridge Police will collect expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs that are potentially dangerous if left in the family’s medicine cabinet. Additionally, vape pens or other e-cigarette cartridges with the batteries removed from the devices will be accepted for disposal. No sharps or liquids will be accepted. Free, no charge and no questions asked.

Woodbridge residents should bring unused and expired prescription drugs (if possible in the original prescription container but not a requirement) to the WPD located in the Town Hall Parking Lot, One Main Street. According to the DEA, more than 629,953 pounds — 314 tons — of prescription drugs were collected at nearly 4,644 sites operated by 4,425 state and local law enforcement agencies when this take back was hosted in October 2024. Since the inception of National Take Back Day, there has been 19,200,440 pounds (9,600 tons) collected by the DEA and participating law enforcement agencies.
