Here Are The Results Of The Woodbridge School Board Election 2025

Here are the unofficial vote counts Tuesday night with all 75/75 Woodbridge voting precincts in:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — In Woodbridge this year, three current school board members ran as a slate for re-election, and were unopposed. They are Jonathan Triebwasser (Inspiring Young Minds slate), Akshar Sidana (Inspiring Young Minds and Vincent Coughlin (Inspiring Young Minds).

Coughlin's father is New Jersey Assembly speaker Craig Coughlin. Craig Coughlin lives in Woodbridge and also works as a lawyer for the Woodbridge town council.

The competitive race this year was between current Woodbridge BOE member Stephan Lally (who is also connected to Coughlin; he's Coughlin's deputy chief of staff) and Tom Maras.

  • Vincent COUGHLIN 18,163 votes (33.63%)
  • Jonathan TRIEBWASSER 17,970 votes (33.27%)
  • Akshar SIDANA 17,430 votes (32.27%)

Vote for one, for a two-year term:

  • Stephan LALLY 16,110 votes (75.47%)
  • Thomas E. MARAS 5,151 votes (24.13%)

Results are unofficial until certified by the county clerk.
