Woodbridge Veterans' Day Parade Is This Sunday At 1:30 P.M.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The annual Woodbridge Veteran’s Day Parade will be this Sunday, Nov. 10. The parade steps off from Ross Street Elementary School #11 at 1:30 p.m.

Join Woodbridge Township veterans, military personnel, marching bands, community organizations and Township residents as the parade makes its way down Main Street in honor of the men and women who served our nation in time of war and peace.

“Woodbridge Township veterans and military personnel will march to Town Hall where they will be honored for their service to our Township, state and nation,” Mayor McCormac said. “It is a great privilege to recognize our veterans and to let them know that we appreciate their sacrifice in the defense of our freedom and for their service to our nation in times of emergency.”

Join Woodbridge Township public service and emergency response units, scouting, youth, civic and historic organizations, Woodbridge High School marching bands, parade dignitaries and hundreds of Township residents and visitors with a salute to our veterans and active-duty military personnel from all branches of service.

Iselin VFW Memorial Post #2636 will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 11:00 AM at the VFW Monument located outside Post Headquarters on Auth Avenue, Iselin.

Fords VFW Memorial Post #6090 will conduct a Veterans Day and Flag-Raising service at 11:00 AM at the Fords War Memorial Monument located at King George Road and Corrielle Street in Fords.

Avenel VFW Memorial Post #7164 will conduct Veterans Day ceremonies at 11:00 AM at the Post Headquarters located at 60 West Park Avenue, Avenel.

Colonia VFW Post #6061 will host an 11:00 AM Veterans Day Service at the Post Headquarters located at 606 Inman Avenue in Colonia.
