• Controversial $2B N.J. rail project moving forward despite residents saying ‘no' (nj.com subscription) — Woodbury Heights is one of several Gloucester County towns that have officially opposed the $2 billion Glassboro‑Camden light rail line, even as state agencies move ahead with land purchases and bridge work. The project would run along existing freight tracks, add new connections to Camden, Trenton, Atlantic City and Philadelphia, and is backed by current and incoming governors despite local cost, noise, and traffic concerns.
