19-Year-Old Shot In Garfield, Suspect In Custody: Prosecutor
The teen was found in a McDonald's with a gunshot wound to the torso, authorities said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ —A 19-year-old man was shot in Garfield Wednesday morning and suspect is in police custody, acting Bergen County Dennis Calo announced.
The Garfield Police Department received several 911 calls at about 3:30 a.m. about possible shots fired near Farnham Avenue, Calo said.
Authorities found the boy inside a nearby McDonald's with a gunshot wound to the torso, Calo said. The teen was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center where he is in serious but stable condition.

A suspect was taken into custody. The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Garfield Police Department are investigating what led to the shooting, Calo said.
