6 Candidates Vying For 3 Wyckoff School Board Seats

3-year terms are set to expire for three board members. Here is who is running for those open seats.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Six candidates have filed to run for three open seats on the K-8 Wyckoff School District Board of Education.

Board Vice President Daniel McHugh, and trustees Louis Cicerchia and Timothy Murtha are three board members with expiring terms this year, and only Cicerchia is running for re-election, according to an unofficial candidate list published by the Bergen County Clerk.

Cicerchia, and five newcomers, comprise the bracketed slates of candidates seeking to fill the vacant seats.

Monday was the last day to file a petition to run for a school board position in the general election, which is scheduled for Nov. 8.
