CHCC Commissions Special Communion-Ware for Residents

The Pastoral Care Department at recently commissioned a potter in North Carolina to make three-piece Communion-ware sets to be used during mass services at he  and The Courtyard at Longview.

“The pieces are simple, basic white, earthy, yet elegant,” said the Rev. Kathy Jo Blaske, chaplain of Evergreen Court. “They enhance the meaning and message of Holy Communion.”

Memorial funds were used to commission the plates, chalices, and pitchers for each residence.
