Oakland Firm Donates to Salvation Army

Lance Kulick, owner of Amberjack Solar Energy based in Oakland, recently appeared on the WOR 710 AM radio-a-thon with on-air personalities Dr. Joy Browne and John Gambling.

During the radio broadcast, Kulick made a $1,000 donation to the Salvation Army as part of WOR's annual holiday gift drive to support organizations that assist the needy in the New York metropolitan area.

In addition, he announced that Amberjack Solar Energy will donate 100 percent of the electricity produced by a 10KW solar energy system to a Salvation Army facility in New Jersey. Kulick estimates the system will save the Salvation Army an estimated $100,000 in energy savings over 30 years.
