8-Year-Old, Woman Critical After Bergen Car Crash: Prosecutor
A child car seat was sitting on the ground at the crash scene, police said.
An 8-year-old girl and a woman are in critical condition following a car crash in Bergen County Wednesday morning, authorities reported.
The head-on collision occurred on Old Hook Road in Harrington Park in northwest Bergen County.
A 34-year-old woman from Norwood driving a 2016 Honda Odyssey crossed over the double yellow line and hit a 2016 Toyota Highlander head-on, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.

The woman and the girl were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center where they were listed in critical condition Wednesday night, Calo said.
The 74-year-old driver of the Toyota was also taken to HUMC for treatment.
