Birding Expert to Speak at Friends Meeting

Don Torino, birdscaping consultant for Wild Birds Unlimited in Paramus, will give a presentation on how to attract area birds and set up your backyard wildlife habitat at the next meeting of the Friends of Wyckoff at the Larkin House.

Torino's recommended feeders, food, and plants will help attract the birds you want to see visit your yard. He has designed and helped establish more than 300 backyard and schoolyard wildlife habitats around Bergen County. He has also trained habitat stewards for the National Wildlife Federation and is the education chairperson for the Bergen County Audubon Society.

The presentation will be preceded by the Friends of Wyckoff's general meeting, where development and activities will be discussed. Refreshments will be served.
