Breast Cancer Advocate Speaking at Franklin Lakes Temple

Dr. Susan Love, nationally renowned breast cancer advocate, physician and author, will be  speaking at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Barert Temple in Franklin Lakes on "Army of Women: Understanding New Thinking on Breast Cancer."

Love also will sign the fifth edition of "Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book."

Love has dedicated her professional life to the eradication of breast cancer.  Her reputation as an activist comes from her role as one of the "founding mothers" of the breast cancer advocacy movement in the early 1990s by being one of the founders of the National Breast Cancer Coalition.  She was appointed by President Clinton to serve on the National Cancer Advisory Board from 1998 to 2004.

Tickets are $18 general admission, $40 for general admission and a signed book, and $180 for a sponsorship, which includes a cocktail reception, priority seating for two and one signed book.
