
Rehearsals are underway at the Wyckoff YMCA for its holiday production of "Annie."
The show will have six performances from Thursday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 12, including 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, 10 and 11 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 12. Matinees will be staged at 2 p.m. Dec. 11 and 1 p.m. Dec. 12.
A cast of more than 100 actors, singers and dancers features many local players. They include: Annie, played by Claire Kwon of Glen Rock and Gabrielle Piacentile of Woodcliff Lake; Miss Hannigan, portrayed by Glenna Godsey of New Milford and Kelly Sullivan of Fair Lawn; Daddy Warbucks, played by Tal Jones of Ringwood and Ernie Revell of Hawthorne.

The part of Grace is being played by Emily Locklear of Franklin Lakes and Suzanne Beckman of Ramsey; Rooster will be Mark Quilesof Hawthorne and Steven Bunin of Fair Lawn; and the role of Lilly will be portrayed by Julie Zier of Wyckoff and Vanessa Tarabocchiaof H0-Ho-Kus.
"Annie" is the fifth production of the Y Arts Company. Established two years ago, the company's goal is to become the pre-eminent community theater in North Jersey.

Approximately 200 individuals auditioned for "Annie," which has been double cast to provide greater opportunity for talented players. Applicants not in the final show have been organized into singing and dancing groups within the Y's performing arts school, Studio 691.
The show will be directed by Reegan McKenzie. Laura Giannone is the production manager, while Georgiana Pappas serves as musical director. Tiffany Rolsing is the choreographer. Anthony Elia is assistant director. Sam Hanna serves as technical director.
