A cell phone collection is under way for the nonprofit organization Cell Phones For Solders.
Collection boxes for old, used cell phones are available at Ramapo High School, Indian Hills High School, Eisenhower Middle School, and Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff.
The mission of Cell Phones For Soldiers is to help troops call home. Cell phone donations will be properly recycled, and the payment received will purchase a 60-minute calling card for a soldier serving overseas so that he or she may call home and speak with loved ones. Each donated phone provides one hour of talk time.
