The Wyckoff Family YMCA will hold a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 to meet two artists' whose work will be featured at the facility in November.
Ellen Reinkraut and Ruth Bauer Neustadter will greet visitors in the lobby of the Y's Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Center, 691 Wyckoff Ave.
Reinkraut said: "My paintings reach for authenticity, self-discovery and an exploration of life's mystery. My creative process focuses on the layering of symbols, brushwork, color and scraping out what is not essential. The images are expressive, deeply personal and suggestive. They invite multiple interpretations."

Neustadter said: "As a woman, dancer, choreographer, teacher and visual artist, I have found that painting weaves together my many passions. One series I am currently working on interplays elements of found objects, acrylic and oil, which form layers and textures, pulling the viewer into and around the work, producing the possibility of very personal interpretations. Much of my work breaks away from the traditional picture plane and moves into sculptural forms on the wall."
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of all art is donated to theWyckoff Family Y.
