Franklin Lakes and Wyckoff Students Compete for Young Artists Scholarship
Two local students are among the 13 finalists for the Don Bosco Prep's scholarship toward music education.

Don Bosco Prep has named 13 finalists for their Young Artists’ Scholarship and the list of names included a few members of the FLOW communities.
Emma Bruder is a Piccoloist from Franklin Lakes, Nicholas Giordano is a Classical Guitarist from Oakland and Michelle Zink is a Soprano from Wyckoff. One of the 13 finalists will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used towards music education.
The 13 finalists will compete for the scholarship during a concert on April 20 at 7:30 pm in the music room of St. John’s Hall.

The finalists have passed through two rounds of auditions where they were judged on technique, musicianship, skill, interpretation, presentation and presence. The finalists are said to compete against a standard of excellence and not against each other.
