Franklin Lakes Mayors Campaign Hosts Mother-Daughter Yoga Workshop Feb. 22

The class is open to 5th graders and above. Tickets are $40 per couple, or $55 for mothers with two daughters if paid by Feb. 20.

Mothers can join their daughters on the mat, as the Franklin Lakes Mayors Campaign will host a Mother-Daughter Yoga workshop on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m. at 730 Franklin Lakes Road.

The class is open to 5th graders and above, and will begin with a signature feel-good Modern Mentor lecture theming right into the yoga flow.

Tickets are $40 per couple, or $55 for mothers with two daughters if paid by Feb. 20. Tickets will also be available at the door for $50 per couple or $65 for mothers with two daughters. Checks should be made payable to “Borough of Franklin Lakes” with a memo note of “Mayors Wellness Campaign.”

Payments can be dropped off at the Franklin Lakes Recreation Center at 1 Vichiconti Way, and made to the Attention of Dina Robinson, MWC.

A donation on behalf of the class will be made to Yogis Heart, a volunteer organization devoted to providing yearly unlimited yoga scholarships to young adults between the ages of 15-25 who are seeking a consistent yoga practice.
