Wyckoff's annual Team Up to Tidy Up is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 and is seeking volunteers.
The Wyckoff Township Committee has announced that the 2013 Team Up to Tidy Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at 9:00 a.m.
Team Up to Tidy Up has been taking place since 1987 and the Environmental Commission is hoping for a great turnout. All cleaning supplies will be provided. They only ask that participants bring their enthusiasm, community pride and desire to fight litter.
“It’s a requirement of a grant that we receive,” said Town Administrator Bob Shannon. “Wyckoff receives a clean communities grant and we have been performing a town-wide team up day for clean up. The purpose of this is to raise our consciousness about the negative effects of litter.”

“A lot of folks participate in cleaning up these quasi-public areas where litter can result,” said Shannon. “It’s usually a very good day and the residents who volunteer are the ones who should be congratulated for their fantastic effort."
