Thursday: 'Annie' Opens at Wyckoff Family YMCA

Rotary Club to meet; kids' book discussion at the library

1. The Y Arts Company will open its production of at 7:30 p.m.

More than 100 actors, singers and dancers will be featured in the production, the fifth by the Arts Company.

Performances will run through Sunday. Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for children. Call the Y at 201-891-2081 for tickets.

2. The Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club will hold its regular weekly breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the , 179 Godwin Ave.

3. The weekly, free health screenings at, 422 Cedar Hill Ave., will be held from 1 to 3 p.m.

The following services are available: blood pressure monitoring; nutritional information; cardiac risk information; diabetes identification; osteoporosis identification; medication consultations and initial health referrals.

Residents interested in the services need only to stop by; no appointments are necessary.

4. Fourth- and fifth-graders are invited to join a book discussion group at the Wyckoff Public Library.

Kids will discuss "Loser" by Jerry Spinelli at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be offered.

5. Ramapo High School will welcome Erica Freudenberg, a family services specialist, as its December career speaker.

Freudenberg will address students in period 6 on Dec. 9.
