William Christopher Appointed as Wyckoff Township Police Officer

The Wyckoff Township Committee will administer the Oath of Office tonight to Probationary Police Officer William R. Christopher.

Christopher has served as a Wyckoff Police Department Dispatcher for the past year. Christopher is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University where he was magna cum laude and graduated with a BA degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to his college graduation, Christopher worked for Fairleigh Dickinson as a Public Safety Officer and dispatcher for the university.

Christopher is currently in training at the Bergen County Police Academy with an anticipated graduation in December. Following graduation he will begin his field training in Wyckoff after which he will be assigned to patrol duties.

Christopher resides in Wyckoff with his family.
