Wyckoff Hosts National Moment of Silence

Supporters gathered in Wyckoff and around the country to remember Michael Brown of Ferguson, Mo.

Supporters gathered in vigils across the country yesterday to remember all those who have died in police violence. One such event was held at The Gardens at Wyckoff on Crescent Avenue.

The National Moment of Silence, prompted by the death of Ferguson, Mo. teenager Michael Brown, was organized via twitter and Facebook.

“People in this areas are not typically affected by police brutality,” Kenneth Joseph of Mahwah told NorthJersey.com. “They may not know what it means to think that you’re not going to be able to see your son off to college but instead you are planning his funeral.”
