The man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife and was arrested again two days later for sending harassing texts.

A Wyckoff man was arrested twice after police say he assaulted his wife and later sent her harassing text messages.

The man was first arrested after Wyckoff police responded to a report of a domestic violence incident on Dec. 14 and “determined that [the] 53-year-old Wyckoff man had assaulted his 45-year-old wife and caused a minor injury to her arm,” Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said.

The man was arrested and charged with assault and released in his own recognizance.
