Wyckoff Man Charged With Shoplifting Twice This Month: Police
David Baumeister, 47, was accused of shoplifting from the same business twice in 8 days, police said.
WYCKOFF, NJ — A township man was accused of stealing from a local business twice in eight days, police said.
David Baumeister, 47, was charged with shoplifting Jan. 8 after police responded to a local business on a reported shoplifting, said Lt. Joseph Soto. Store personnel detained Baumeister until police took into custody. He was charged and released, Soto said.
Police went to the same business on a report of Baumeister shoplifting there Jan. 16, Soto said. Baumeister was again arrested and charged with shoplifting and defiant trespass, he said.

Baumeister was remanded to the Bergen County Jail after the second arrest, Soto said.
