Wyckoff Police Arrest Drunk Driver Who Crashed into Parked Car

A Bergen County man was arrested in Wyckoff after allegedly driving while intoxicated and crashing his vehicle into a parked car as a result.

Wyckoff Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue and Lafayette Avenue on Dec. 27 just before 10 p.m. and determined a “vehicle traveling north on Lafayette Avenue failed to turn either left or right at the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue,” Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said. As a result, the vehicle went straight and struck a vehicle parked in the driveway of a house directly across the street.

Ryan C. Fells, 36, of Midland Park, was arrested for DWI and following a breath test, he was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.

He was released to his brother and will appear in municipal court.
