Wyckoff Woman Runs Car off Road, Strikes Utility Pole While Intoxicated
The arrest came after Wyckoff Police received a call from a citizen providing the license plate number of an erratic driver on Godwin Ave.

A Wyckoff woman was arrested after running her car off the road and striking a utility police while allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Wyckoff Police received a call at 1:25 a.m. on Dec. 27 from a citizen providing the license plate number of an erratic driver on Godwin Avenue, which was traced back to a Wyckoff residence, Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said.
Police responded to the area of the home, but discovered the car had run off the road on Cresthaven Road and struck a utility pole.

Christie L. Muirhead, 28, of Lee Court, was arrested for DWI and after being brought into police headquarters, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test and reckless driving.
She was released to her father and is scheduled to appear in municipal court on Jan. 21.
