• LLHS football coach ousted (news-bulletin.com subscription) — Los Lunas High School has removed head football coach Greg Henington, the former Belen High School coach who led the Tigers to a 2021 state title and went 4-0 against rival Belen before that series ended. He’ll stay on as a PE teacher while the district quickly searches for a new coach to guide Los Lunas back in 5A, where he’d hoped to bring another championship to Valencia County.
