• Judge gives Yazzie/Martinez plaintiffs more time to respond to state's plan (tricityrecordnm.com) — Bernalillo recently hosted a community event where attorneys in the Yazzie/Martinez education lawsuit sharply criticized the state’s new school improvement plan as inadequate. A judge has now given plaintiffs until February 19 to file detailed objections, extending a key deadline in the case that could shape funding and services for students across New Mexico, including those in Bernalillo.
