• FBI: Las Cruces Man Pleads Guilty To Two Bank Robberies (ladailypost.com) — A Las Cruces man has pleaded guilty to robbing the U.S. Bank in Los Lunas in February, fleeing with at least $6,000 after passing a threatening note to tellers. FBI agents, along with Los Lunas Police and the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, tied him to that robbery and another in Las Cruces; he and an accomplice now face significant federal prison time. 
• A new alert for missing Native people has been issued just six times. State police deny most requests. (nmindepth.com) — State police have used New Mexico’s new Turquoise Alert system only six times, even though one of those alerts involved a missing person connected to Los Lunas and all were eventually found. Local departments say most of their requests are denied under a narrow legal definition of “missing,” and lawmakers are considering changes so Native families can get alerts issued more easily.

- December 6 we came home and my daughter’s dog was missing from the buena vista neighborhood.
Her name is Charlie. She is very sweet and missed. If she has been seen please reach out. (Nextdoor Village of Los Lunas) - My daughter lives by avenida valencia and 4 dogs are running around 2 boxers a boxer mix and a hound dog.
They almost got hit and 4 loose german shepards downs her road will hurt them. My daughter has her son and pregnant so can't do much! (Nextdoor Los Lunas)
