SFNF Extends Camping Area Closure At Headquarters Well (ladailypost.com) — If you camp near Headquarters Well in the Española Ranger District, be aware the Santa Fe National Forest has extended its camping closure there through Dec. 31, 2026, to curb damage from long-term camping and dumping. Nighttime access to roads and trails in the closure area is also prohibited, with maps and details available from SFNF offices in Santa Fe and Española.
