9-Year-Old Abducted Upstate; Amber Alert Issued: Police

MOREAU, NY — Police have issued an Amber Alert after a 9-year-old girl was abducted upstate, according to authorities.

Charlotte E. Sena was last seen around 6:15 p.m. Saturday on Loop A in the Moreau Lake State Park in Moreau in Saratoga County, state officials said, adding the abduction is believed to have occurred about 6:45 p.m. Saturday in Gansevort, near the park.

Sena is 4 feet, 6 inches tall; weighs 90 pounds; and has blonde hair and green eyes, according to authorities. She was last seen wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs and a gray bike helmet.

“My heart is with Charlotte's family and loved ones as the search continues,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a social media post, noting emergency personnel worked through the night, searching for Charlotte.
