The Children’s Village Launches Summer Backpack Collection Campaign
Make An Impact In The Classroom This Summer: Support Students' Academic Success
Dobbs Ferry, NY — As the summer sun shines bright, The Children's Village is aiming to brighten students’ lives by launching the Summertime Backpack Collection Campaign to provide youth with the essential tools to excel in the classroom this upcoming academic year.
“Young people need the right school supplies to achieve their goals,” said Jeremy Kohomban, President and CEO of The Children’s Village. “With your support, we aim to fill over 3,000 backpacks for the upcoming school year, empowering students with the resources they need to thrive.”
The nonprofit, which supports the most marginalized children and families in the New York metropolitan area, annually holds the backpack collection drive to assist many of its charges. There are multiple ways people can donate:

Host a Supply Drive: Rally friends, family, or coworkers to join the cause by hosting a supply drive. CV will provide support every step of the way to ensure a drive is successful.
