Stop & Shop Donates Nearly 600 Easter Hams to the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation to Benefit Staten Island Families in Need

Legendary boxing trainer and commentator, Teddy Atlas, was joined by students from PS57, and representative from Stop & Shop, as the supermarket and its partner, Hormel Foods, donated nearly 600 Easter hams to the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation food pantry. The donation took place today at the New Dorp store and will benefit families facing food insecurity across Staten Island during the Easter holiday.
“Stop & Shop is pleased to continue its Easter tradition of making a signification donation to the Teddy Atlas Foundation to support our neighbors in need,” said Stefanie Shuman, Manager of External Communications at Stop & Shop. “We are grateful for our partner at Hormel Foods, who assisted with the donation, as well as for the Teddy Atlas Foundation for its commitment to improving the quality of life of all Staten Island residents.”
“The Dr. Atlas Foundation believes that all people should feel loved and cared for. So once again we have joined with Stop & Shop, Hormel Foods, and other community partners to provide hams so that Staten Island families in need can have a traditional Easter meal,” said Teddy Atlas.
