• Greatly expanded data center proposal on GCEDC agenda for Thursday (thebatavian.com) — A greatly expanded STREAM data center is being proposed for the WNY STAMP industrial park in Alabama, potentially bringing a 2.2 million-square-foot complex, hundreds of megawatts of power use, and large tax abatements. GCEDC may claim lead agency status for the environmental review Thursday, while the Tonawanda Seneca Nation and local residents push for state oversight, citing environmental, cultural, and infrastructure concerns, including diesel use and wastewater hauling.
