Albany County Government: County Executive Introduces New Reusable Bag Design Winner

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy unveiled the new reusable grocery bag design and winner this morning at the Langan School at the Center for Disability Services. Uriah’s “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” design was selected after the school entered several submissions encouraging the public to reduce our reliance on disposable paper bags and to protect the environment.

The thermal insulated bags are free, available in the lobby in the county office building at 112 State Street (while supplies last) and will be distributed throughout the county.
