In a long-standing community joint effort that Centers Health Care has with Stewart's throughout the Capital and Adirondacks regions, the latest couldn't be too "sweet" as free ice cream was given to almost 600 customers being offered to them in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Worcester and Richfield Springs from July 8 through the 14th. Each ice cream social started at 3pm and ended until close of business.

This joint effort with Centers Health Care and Stewart's began a couple of years ago with Free Coffee Days, which is still very popular throughout the region but, of course, summertime's number one choice is ice cream.

"We love our families in the region and just to bring them ice cream, talking to them about facilities in the region and how we can help them, goes a long way," said Alicia Klein, Community Liaison with Centers Home Care in Otsego. "This has been a hot summer, so walking into a cool air-conditioned Stewart's and getting free cream cannot be beaten."
