• Aquebogue woman charged in felony theft from Greenport restaurant: Southold Police (riverheadlocal.com) — An Aquebogue resident has been charged with second-degree grand larceny after a Southold police investigation into missing funds at a Greenport restaurant where she worked. Authorities say the case involves more than $50,000 and are asking anyone with relevant information or concerns they may be a victim to contact Southold detectives. The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
