Teen Girl Goes Missing In Astoria, Police Say

A 16-year-old girl was reported missing from her Astoria home over the weekend, according to police.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A teenager was reported missing from her Astoria home over the weekend, according to police.

Imani Gonzalez, 16, left her home at the NYCHA Astoria Houses on Halletts Point around 7:30 p.m. Sunday and has not been seen since, police said.

Authorities described her as Black, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with dark eyes and long, braided black hair.

Police released photos of Gonzalez, and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
