Angry Queens Rider Soaks Traffic Agent Over Parking Ticket: NYPD
The passenger allegedly cursed out and tossed liquid at a 55-year-old traffic cop who ticketed his car for double parking in Astoria.

ASTORIA, QUEENS -- An irate passenger let out some bottled up rage on a traffic cop this weekend, cursing out and chucking liquid at the 55-year-old woman who ticketed his double-parked car in Astoria, police said.
The fiasco started just before 5 p.m. on Friday when the NYPD traffic agent ticketed the man's Nissan Rogue SL for double parking on Steinway Street near 31st Avenue, cops said.
The man, who police identified as 35-year-old Salama Haytham, spotted the traffic agent ticketing his car and allegedly began cursing her out as he got into the passenger seat, authorities said.

The woman placed the ticket on his windshield and walked away to continue her tour, but Haytham found her again about 20 minutes later, police said.
He allegedly held a plastic bottle out of the car window and tossed the clear liquid inside at the traffic cop, hitting her in the back. She was sent to Astoria General Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police described Haytham as about 5-foot-6 and roughly 180 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt riding in the passengar seat of the dark colored Nissan.
