Astoria Woman, 66, Has Been Missing For Days, Police Say

Lorine Andrus, 66, left her Astoria home over the weekend and has not been seen since, according to police.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A 66-year-old Astoria woman has been missing for nearly a week, according to police, who are asking the public for help finding her.

Lorine Andrus was last seen around midnight Saturday, leaving her home on 23rd Street near Astoria Boulevard, police say.

She is described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown eyes and blond hair. Andrus was last seen wearing glasses, police say.

Police on Wednesday released a photo of Andrus and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
