Broad-Daylight Woodside Shootout Caught On Video: Police
Authorities are looking for a man seen on video firing gunshots on a busy Broadway street corner on Tuesday, according to police.
WOODSIDE, QUEENS — A wild shootout unfolded Tuesday on a busy Woodside street corner, according to police, who released video of the incident as they search for one of the suspects.
Video shows one man standing on the corner of 65th Street and Broadway around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday when the second suspect pulls up in a black Audi sedan.
The man on the corner appears to beckon the other suspect over to the sidewalk. A short time later, he emerges from the Audi, brandishing a handgun as the first man takes cover behind what appears to be the outdoor dining structure of Woodside Cafe.

Video shows him returning fire at the second man.
The first man, identified by police as 28-year-old Tenzin Norgyal of Middle Village, Queens, was shot in the right shoulder and taken to Elmhurst Hospital. There, he was placed under arrest and charged with attempted murder, police said.

The other gunman got back in the Audi after the shooting and drove northbound along 64th Street. Police described the unidentified man as about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, with a medium build, a medium complexion, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a red-and-white short-sleeve shirt, gray shorts, and black sneakers with white trim.
