Family-Owned Grocer To Open In Astoria On Friday

Horton's Market has said it plans to sell vegan goods, produce, and coffee alike.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Astorians will have another place to buy groceries come Friday.

Horton's Market, a family-owned grocer, is opening its doors at the corner of 31st Avenue and 21st Street.

While the grocer has said on social media that it plans to sell vegan goods, produce, and coffee alike, the marketplace didn't respond to Patch's request for additional comments — though it encouraged neighbors to stop by and see for themselves.
