After Alewife shut down its location in 2020, Gamehaus spent more than a year renovating the space, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, owners wrote on Instagram.

El Grupo, whose other businesses include a rooftop lounge in Chelsea and a restaurant in Harlem, says Gamehaus will be "perfect for young adults and families."
