ASTORIA, QUEENS — For years, food halls have been popping up across New York City. Now it's Astoria's turn.
The World Artisan Market is slated to open this fall in a converted warehouse in Astoria, according to broker Steve Lysohir.
Confirmed vendors include a gelato shop, a Korean BBQ restaurant and Indian and South Asian eateries.

The food hall is located at 34-39 31st St., several blocks away from Kaufman Astoria Studios and the Museum of the Moving Image.
Lysohir said he is still seeking businesses to fill 4,000 square feet inside the market and 2,000 square feet of outdoor space.

Here are the businesses that plan to set up shop in the World Artisan Market:
- Sotto La Luna: A gelateria/café and a restaurant serving Italian food, a collaboration between restauranteurs from Milan and Cisterno in Puglia, Italy.
- Elevenses Venoiserrie: An "eclectic" bakery with French and Scandinavian influences.
- Kini Korean BBQ: A sit-down Korean BBQ restaurant by chef Juwon Song, a Café Boulud alum who runs Kini in Long Island City.
- Masala Box: A second location of the chef Sumita-Gohal Verma's Indian restaurant on Bell Boulevard in Bayside, Queens.
- A South Asian restaurant with a full bar and an express counter for grab-and-go customers.
