London-Based Ice Cream Shop Opens In Long Island City
Four Winters, founded in London in 2013, is bringing its liquid nitrogen ice cream to the East Coast for the first time.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A British ice cream purveyor is bringing its made-to-order frozen desserts to Queens.
London-based liquid nitrogen ice cream company Four Winters opened a Long Island City shop on Friday, where it will offer such diverse flavors as the Middle Eastern-inspired Knafeh, brown sugar speculoos and fudge brownie.
Seasonal flavors, like key lime pie and mango chili sorbet, will rotate monthly.

Customers can also make their own creations using an array of sauces and toppings.
Founded in 2013 by two entrepreneurs, Four Winters has locations in London, Jordan, Egypt and Los Angeles. The Queens shop is its first location on the East Coast.

The Long Island City outpost is located at 47-38 Vernon Blvd. It is open seven days a week, from noon to 11 p.m.
